Captain Obvious, righteous pop culture truth-monger and denier of mediocre television!
Out of the dark, murky night there sits a warrior of television plot waiting for the prime moment to strike a blow to the heart of bad tv. This warrior is Captain Obvious, the only voice of reason in a prime time gone mad. His pop culture standards never wavering he fights the good fight to applaud the well imagined while mocking the lame and poorly executed story-lines that haunt primetime television programming today. He never tires, never settles and never fails to speak his mind.
There are some that would like to see Captain Obvious silenced. These hacks, these second rate community college drop-outs with no flair for the dramatic and even less talent for compelling plot are merely embarrassed, nay shamed when their works of television "art" are ceaselessly mocked and paraded in front of all to be seen as the jokes they truly are.
Good TV has a friend in the Captain and he sits, omniscient and ever faithful on his vigil to speak the truth about what's wrong, cast a light on what others think should be hidden and hoping that the next leap will be the leap... home.
